The Central Conference on Political and Legislative Affairs was held in Beijing on Jan. 15-16, 2021. It was pointed out that judicial enforcement should be toughened up with respect to anti-monopoly, anti-profiteering, anti-overpricing, anti-sensationalism and anti-unfair competition efforts, and related legislation will be improved. It was emphasized at the meeting that efforts should be made to rigorously regulate enforcement and judicial practices while ensuring impartial and civilized judicial enforcement, and step up judicial enforcement in the fields of food and drugs, environmental protection, public transportation and work safety; promote the in-depth implementation of the Civil Code, and tighten up judicial enforcement involving the protection of personal rights, property rights, personality rights and, in particular, personal information; and further optimize the business environment focusing on increasing the supplies of judicial enforcement.
